Calcium Phosphate is precipitated from Whey UF permeate under controlled process parameters. Subsequently it is separated using Centrifugal separation and / or Membrane Filtration.
Calcium phosphate is precipitated with a combination of thermal and chemical treatments.
The relevant range of interest in membrane filtration is Ultrafiltration. Nominal membrane porosity is in the 10,000 to 200,000 Dalton range depending on desired product composition.
