The Food Protein R&D Center (FPRDC)
The Food Protein R&D Center (FPRDC) is an engineering process development, innovation, and training center, focused on adding value to diverse biological materials, including oilseeds, grains, nuts, citrus, vegetables, waste biomass, waxes, petroleum and natural/botanical oils, liquid/fluid process streams, and water. We are part of the Texas A&M University System through the Texas Engineering Experiment Station and managed as a center within the Institute of Food Science and Engineering.

Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures, Fungal Biodiversity Center
The Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) - an institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and situated in Utrecht - maintains a world-renowned collection of living filamentous fungi, yeasts and bacteria. The Institute's research programs principally focus on the taxonomy and evolution of fungi as well as on functional aspects of fungal biology and ecology, increasingly making use of molecular and genomics approaches.
