GEA Filtration will form an important part of the GEA Group stand at this year's ACHEMA exhibition in Frankfurt, Stand number D15-G22. GEA Filtration is a world leader in cross flow membrane filtration, with reverse osmosis and nano-, ultra-, and microfiltration as core technologies. GEA Filtration is part of the GEA group and has application centres in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Denmark. The company has recently undergone a major reorganization to allow itself to focus more strongly on the European market. The main GEA exhibit on the stand this year will be the new Model 'R' membrane filtration pilot plant line. The new plant performs pilot studies on all membrane filtration technologies (MF, UF, NF and RO) under a wide range of operating conditions. It also has the ability to test any type of membrane filters including: spiral-wound polymeric, ceramic, hollow fibre, stainless steel, etc. The plant is highly automated and prepared for data logging. GEA Filtration also has an explosion-proof version of the plant available for use with non water-based solvents that are potentially explosive. Other GEA companies represented on the stand will be: GEA Wiegand, Niro, Westfalia Separator, Tuchenhagen, GEA Jet Pumps, Niro Soavi and Niro Pharma Systems (NPS).
