The GEA Filtration Model M pilot plantis a laboratory-scale test plant designed for feasibility testing of cross-flow membrane filtration applications in the microfiltration, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration ranges. The unit can be set up for evaluation of a variety of membrane formats including spiral-wound, ceramic, stainless steel and hollow fiber. The modular design allows the Model M to be built with fully customized design solutions including construction materials and material finishes, operating configurations and parameters, sanitation/sterilization protocols and instrumentation/automation level. The unique features of the Model M include:
GEA Filtration range of membrane filtration pilot plants includes models small enough and economical enough for very small-scale feasibility testing to small-scale production simulation units. This wide range of plant size allows opportunity for evaluation of not only technical but also commercial feasibility. GEA Filtration can then design and build full-scale production units to any size, industry standard, custom configured to the clients' unique needs. The GEA Filtration range of pilot plant is available for purchase or for short-term lease.
