An original GEA Filtration spare part is more than just another replacement. It is your guarantee for perfect compatibility, reliability, optimal operation, and maximum plant longevity. Furthermore, any trouble-shooting in your plant's lifetime will be easy due to GEA Filtration's extensive documentation.

Below shown are the most common replacement parts available from GEA Filtration. Click on a heading to select a part/s to include in a request for quote:

  • Anti-Telescoping Devices (ATDs) and Plugs — A device that holds a spiral element in place and prevents the element from telescoping while under high flow rates and pressures.
  • Heat Exchangers — most generally required on cross flow filtration systems to remove excess heat that is generated by recirculation pumps.
  • Lip Seals or O'Ring — used on end plugs and interconnectors to make a leak proof seal between the end cap, or interconnector, and the permeate transfer tube of a spiral membrane.
  • Membranes — devices of varying formats that include a semi-permeable material layer with a select pore size and that have the ability to produce very specific separations. For more detailed information on cross-flow filtration membranes see our Technology section.
  • Plate and Frame Modules and Spares — GEA has available spare parts for DDS plate and frames M30, M36, M37, M38 and for the Lab20.
  • Pressure Indicators — devices used to indicate the pressure (bar or PSI units) at a specific point within a membrane system.
  • Pump Parts for Membrane Systems — GEA Filtration can assist clients by offering to provide replacement pump parts for each system we build.
  • Rotometers — A simple, clear, closed tube that is used to measure the flow rate of, usually, the permeate leaving a membrane system.
  • Vessel and Vessel Components — A vessel, or housing, is used to contain membrane elements and includes ferules or other similar connections that direct feed flow, permeate, and retentate to or away from the vessel. A typical spiral membrane vessel includes the following components.
